Marketplace requests have their own lifecycle before they become bookings.
Request statuses
- Open — specialists can view the request and send quotes.
- Matched — the request has specialist activity or quotes, but no accepted booking yet.
- Pending payment — the shopper accepted a quote and payment is required before the request is fully booked.
- Booked — the accepted quote has become a booking.
- Expired — the request closed before the preferred start time.
- Cancelled — the shopper or Tobinrin admin closed the request.
Quote statuses
- Pending — the shopper can still accept or decline your quote.
- Accepted — your quote was selected and a booking was created.
- Declined — the shopper declined your quote.
- Not selected — another quote was accepted or the full request closed.
- Withdrawn — you withdrew the quote before it was selected.
Notifications
Tobinrin sends in-app notifications for important request changes, including new matching requests, edits to requests you quoted, accepted quotes, declined quotes, expired requests, and cancelled requests.
Email notifications follow the notification preferences set in your settings.
