How bookings arrive
New online bookings appear in your calendar immediately and you receive an in-app notification. Click the appointment to open the booking detail modal, which shows the client, service, location, payment status, and any notes the shopper left.
Booking statuses
Tobinrin bookings move through a fixed set of statuses:
- Pending — waiting for you to confirm (some providers auto-confirm).
- Confirmed — accepted and visible to the shopper.
- Completed — the service was delivered. Setting this status is what unlocks the shopper's ability to leave a review.
- Cancelled — cancelled by either side. If the shopper paid, the refund follows your cancellation policy.
- No show — the shopper did not turn up. If you have a no-show fee configured, it may still be charged.
Change the status using the Status dropdown at the top of the booking detail modal.
Payment status on the booking
Below the status, Tobinrin shows the payment information for the booking:
- Which method was used (card via Paystack, pay in person, or a pay-for-me link).
- The amount paid, the amount still due, and the card's last 4 digits if applicable.
- Any deposit that was taken at booking time.
Rescheduling and cancelling on behalf of a client
Use the Reschedule action in the modal to open the reschedule flow, pick a new available slot, and save the change. Use Cancel Appointment if the booking needs to be cancelled instead. The client is notified automatically, though following up in Messages can still be helpful.
