Payment methods
Tobinrin processes all card payments through Paystack in Nigerian Naira (₦). At the Review and Confirm step of the booking flow you choose one of three options — the provider controls which are available:
- Pay with card — pay the full amount or a deposit now via Paystack. You can save your card for next time.
- Pay in person — confirm the booking now and settle at the venue on the day.
- Pay for me — generates a shareable checkout link. Send it to whoever is paying and they complete the payment at
/shopper/bookings/pay-link.
Due now vs. due at venue
Providers can require a deposit (a fixed ₦ amount or a percentage of the total) or hold your card for a no-show fee. The Review and Confirm screen always splits the total into Due now and Due at venue so you know exactly what will be charged before you confirm.
Saved cards
Your saved cards live in Settings. Tobinrin never stores the full card number — Paystack tokenises it and only the card brand and last 4 digits are kept for display. You can remove a card at any time without affecting existing bookings.
Receipts and payment history
Every successful charge triggers a Paystack email receipt. You can also see each payment on the booking in My bookings — the Payment section shows the method, amount, and card last 4 digits.
