Create your account
Go to /sign-up/service-specialist and sign up with email and password or Google. Tobinrin sends an email verification link — click it before continuing.
Complete the business setup flow
You land on /service-specialist/complete-profile, a guided setup flow. It asks for your name, phone verification code, business name, optional bio and website, up to 3 categories, how you deliver services (physical, mobile, or virtual), your service coverage, account type, and referral source.
Finish the service mode and account steps
The flow changes based on how you work. Physical businesses enter a business address, mobile specialists choose a primary city or region and optional secondary regions, and virtual specialists add their platform type plus a meeting link. If you pick a team account, Tobinrin also asks for team size.
Review terms and submit
Before the setup is complete, agree to the specialist terms and bloom codes, then confirm how you heard about Tobinrin. The categories step and Bloom upsell can be skipped, but your core business and service-delivery details cannot.
Add locations and services next
Open Settings → Business Details → Locations and press New location. Add the address, pick a main category, upload location photos, and set the opening hours. Every bookable service is attached to at least one location.
Verify your identity with Smile ID
After onboarding, open Settings → Business Details → Verification to start verification. Tobinrin uses Smile ID in two stages:
- Identity verification starts in a Smile modal and checks the person behind the business.
- Business verification comes after that and asks for your CAC registration number plus business type.
You can retry a rejected step from the same page, and the verification screen refreshes status while Smile is processing.
Editing your business later
Your business name, description, contact links, and profile visibility can all be changed later from Settings → Business Details. Locations, opening hours, services, pricing, and payment policies are managed separately from their own settings pages.
