Why turn on 2FA
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a one-time code from an authenticator app on top of your password. Even if someone learns your password, they can't sign in without your device.
Open Account security
Visit /shopper/settings and find the 2 Factor Authentication card.
Confirm your password
Press Begin Setup, enter your current password, and press Continue. If you only use Google sign-in and have no password, create a password first.
Scan the QR code and save your backup codes
Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, or any TOTP app. On the same screen Tobinrin also shows your backup codes — press Copy All or Download to save them somewhere safe before you continue. They're your only way back in if you lose your authenticator.
Verify a 6-digit code
Press I've Scanned the Code, then type the current 6-digit code from your authenticator and press Verify. 2FA is now active.
